DAY 1 Delhi
Your tour commences with an arrival transfer to your hotel in vibrant Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi
Today you will explore the old and new of India. Start with the imposing Red Fort known for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone. Then take a ride on a Rickshaw through Chandi Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Then you will proceed to Gandhi’s memorial at Raj Ghat. This evening, join your fellow tour members at a welcome dinner.

DAY 3 Delhi - Agra
This morning explore New Delhi with a visit to Birla House, the former residence of Mahatma Gandi. Afterwards, drive along the Rajpath past the famous India Gate, the Houses of Parliament, Connaught Place and visit Humayun's Tomb, the first garden-tomb of India. Continue to the 75m high Qutub Minar, an incredible red sandstone tower. Afterwards, continue to Agra.

DAY 4 Agra - Ranthambore
Start your day before sunrise by exploring one of the wonders of the world - the iconic Taj Mahal, the famous monument of love. The architectural wonder was built by the emperor in loving memory of his beloved queen. After breakfast and your hotel check out, continue to the Agra Fort, a powerful fortress of red sandstone. This afternoon travel to nearby Fatehpur Sikri to explore the grounds of this one time capital of the Mughal Empire and now fascinating ghost city. See the stunning remains including the three palaces built by Emperor Akbar, one for each of his favourite wives before continuing to Ranthambore.

DAY 5 Ranthambore
Today, you'll explore Ranthambore, famous for its national park which is home to the largest and most diverse collection of wildlife species in India. Enjoy a morning safari where you'll be able to see a variety of mammals, tigers, and about 150 bird species. In the afternoon, join the second safari of your day, where you have the opportunity to spot various indigenous animals, such as nilgai, chausingha, chital, chinkara, wild boar, jungle cat, ratel, hyena, porcupine, the Rhesus Macaque, and the black-faced Langur.

DAY 6 Ranthambore - Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the pristine jewel in the desert sands of Rajasthan called the Pink City. Here, you'll notice the buildings in the old city are made of pink sandstone and still maintain their reddish hue today. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 7 Jaipur
This morning visit the Amber Fort, a classic romantic Rajasthani Fort-Palace, which stands tall overlooking the Pink City. There this an opportunity to ride an elephant to the majestic Amber Fort. Afterwards, return to the city centre to see the beautiful Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds, where the ladies of the court used to watch the city from behind its intricately carved facade. Visit the majestic City Palace and the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, followed by the remainder of the day at leisure to experience Jaipur.

*During the peak season if the elephant ride is not available, it will be replaced with a jeep ride to the fort.

DAY 8 Jaipur - Delhi
Your tour concludes with a transfer to Delhi (approx. 6 hours), check in at your hotel where you will have the opportunity to freshen up and change before you have one last dinner with your fellow travellers. You'll then be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
